  • NC State Counseling Center: The Counseling Center counsels NC State students experiencing personal, academic or vocational problems. It also offer psychological assessment and psychiatric consultation. The services are primarily short-term in nature, and ensure strict confidentiality. They make referrals to other helping professionals and community agencies as appropriate. Many services are free to currently enrolled students of NC State University.

    • Women of Welch (WOW) Village:  NC State’s Living and Learning Villages are interest-based living communities that engage students both inside and outside the classroom. Villages provide an unparalleled living experience where you’ll make life-long friends and immerse yourself in the NC State community. Students who live in Villages have a 5-10% higher GPA than those who don’t. The Women of Welch (WOW) Village supports, empowers, connects and develops female leaders at NC State. Through focusing on empowerment, leadership, self-awareness, diversity and social justice the Village develops you into an empowered campus leader while challenging you to act as a citizen of the global community.
